anyone can suggest a good review book or text / etc to study physiology for my 3rd year science. Its my first physiology course and many people flunk in it . What seems to be the problem?
anyone has been through this?

a good basic text is Human Physiology by Lauralee Sherwood (2001, i believe). good luck.

Physiology, by Guyton & Hall seems to be the goldstandard for alot of medschools. I used it for the MCAT and thought is was such a great book I just kept reading it because I liked it. No, seriously it is excellent.

Dr Guyton was a really nice guy too and when I was reading the book I even called him up down in Missisippi to ask him a question. A little deaf, but a real sweetheart of a guy!

is it just physiology or is it Anatomy & Physiology...if it's A & P then go with Anatomy and Physiology W/ ADAM Software By Marieb... new copy is like 143 dollars but it is the one to get for sure...The software is especially helpful🙂
