I was accepted into both of my top schools PCOM-Ga and Alabama State but I am having trouble picking. PCOM is a newer program and will know about accreditation in April. They have newer facilities, equipment, and speciality classes but tuition and cost of living are higher. ASU is cheaper with a smaller class and accredited but has less opportunities. Which would you all pick?

hi! I'm just gonna give my two cents because I interviewed at PCOM-GA and I had an overall great experience getting to know their faculty and program. I felt they had an extremely well-knowledgeable faculty that were very passionate about the program. I worried about them being newer and how that may impact the number of clinical affiliations as well as them not having their accreditation yet. They emphasized that there has almost never been a program who has not gotten their accreditation, but it is still a slight risk. I don't know much about ASU, but there is a small risk in going to such a new program and on top of that it is more expensive overall. I'm sure both programs are great so there really is no wrong decision 🙂

Thank you! I definitely enjoyed their interview as well it’s just coming down to deciding between prices and having the summer off.
