Hello! I am an undergraduate Biomedical sciences student at the University of Central Florida, and I am conducting a study on medical students under the guidance of Dr. Susanny Beltran, a University of Central Florida Faculty member. This project seeks to investigate medical students' self-reported perceptions of professional medical interpreters and relevant training.
Participants can expect to complete an online survey that is anonymous and compatible with mobile devices. It should take approximately 10 minutes. The survey contains questions about demographics, knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to medical interpreting. The decision to participate or not participate in this study will in no way affect participants’ relationships with the University of Central Florida.
As this questionnaire is completely voluntary, if participants feel uncomfortable or no longer wish to proceed at any time, they are free to stop and close the survey.
Participants must be 18 or older and a student enrolled at a U.S. allopathic or osteopathic medical school (M.D. or D.O. program) within the state of Florida. No identifiable private information will be gathered.
Access the pilot survey here: Qualtrics Survey | Qualtrics Experience Management
This study is IRB-approved, and you can find the approval letter attached. Please, if you can complete it, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you so much!!
