Pitt early october interviewers

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I got into Pitt...after after all the anxiety...my faculty interviewer and student interviewer sent me e-mails (how nice 🙂

Interviewed on 10/11 (my very first interview 😀
Awesome, nice job!! I can't believe how many acceptances we have here. I guess SDN really isn't representative of the greater applicant pool. Either that or else people aren't bothering to tell us they were rejected....

Thanks kypdurron5. I'm rooting for you. I hope you get into Pitt...maybe we'll be classmates 😍

By the way, Congrats on your first medical school acceptance.

:luck:

Sorry about that, I must have mixed you with someone else...but I think its a sign of some sort...your acceptances are on their way- so just wait  You've definitely got my best wishes 😍

I torture myself every time I'm on campus. I have weekly meetings in critical care medicine in Scaife, and if my studies every make it through the IRB (currently I need consent forms), I'll be there most weekends as well. And I don't interview until January. :scared:

Quix- January will be here. Hang in there...

By the way,

is weather in Pitt really that bad? I hear that it rains, snows, and rains (some more...even in the summer)? Is it possible for a sun-loving Californian to adjust to the weather without being too miserable...? Maybe I'll need to find new hobbies...😛

Our weather is bipolar. If you don't like it, wait ten minutes. At the moment it is mid-40s, but there's about a 20 degree difference in temp from high to low this time of year. I don't remember snow in the summer at all, and I've been here for a long time. Seattle has more sunny days than we do, but folks here still manage to find a tan. 😉 And there's plenty here to do in cold weather. :meanie:

Congrats on all that have heard good news from Pitt! Anyone interview the very first week of October and still not hear anything?? I get the whole "it takes 4-6 weeks" but it's frustrating to have no news when people who interviewed two weeks after you have been accepted (again, congrats)....i guess I'm just impatient.

I interviewed the first week of October and nothing yet...

my interview was oct. 11th - I have heard nothing yet either...
