I think that after the initial wave of pre-secondary rejections, they wait to send out the rest of their decisions at the end of Feb / early March. I'm not certain though... why don't you give the admissions office a call? They're pretty friendly.
I am waiting for UPitt as well, but I have only been complete since 1/5 due to major LOR issues. How long should I wait until I start calling? I sent an update a week and a half after I was deemed complete so I am guessing that they are still going over my file.
I'm in the same boat, complete since Nov. I'm hoping to hear from them soon. The first person who finds out what the "dilly" is should post. I'll try to call them as soon as I can to find out how full thier class is, and how they are coming along as far as interview invitations go.
i was complete in mid-november, and just got an interview invite last week, so hopefully you guys will hear soon. don't worry, there were at least 20 dates to choose from when i scheduled my interview.
edit: remember, they have non-rolling admissions, so they haven't accepted anyone yet.
Erg. This isn't good news. If there were about 20 dates to choose from they might have sent out 20 interview invites last week, easily. I'll call and ask if they send out interview invitations in batches or gradually.
i've been complete at pitt since the end of october as well, and haven't heard anything. its disturbing, really. i would also appreciate it if anyone who found something out would post it.
Found in a post 1 year ago by moviefreak: (Search for "Interview invites AFTER January 10th!!")
"univ of pitt via e-mail 2/24 and scheduled over the phone for 3/18. the lady that i talked to said they haven't accepted anyone yet. so it's still fair game=)"
So there is still hope. I definitely know that they interview through the end of March. Even though most people hear by early March, UPitt still accepts people after that on the rolling basis.
