Pitt (OOS) vs. Penn

Hey guys, I’m reaching out to the SDN community for some guidance. I accepted to both UPENN and UPITT. I received scholarships at both that would bring the tuition of UPITT down to about 320K for all four years and UPENN down to about 400K. Both schools I thoroughly like however I’m facing a tough decision. I really want the opportunity to specialize in either OMFS or Ortho. I’m torn between the two and looking for some advice.

I’d like to say UPitt. I believe if you go there you definitely have an opportunity to specialize so you should be ok. 80k before interest is at least 100k after interest. I know in the long run 80k may not seem like too much, but it may mean an extra few years paying your loan back. UPitt is an amazing school so you’re not really giving up too much.
