Which would you pick and why?

Edit: Based on the school alone, not location. I live near Rochester and really don't mind the area at all. It seems that location is the problem most have with Rochester but thats not an issue for me.

I'd pick pitt because

1) I'm interested in peds and they have the best childrens' hospital.

2) Their simulation centers are amazing.

otherwise...i think the two are comparable.

Pitt all the way... but then i'm definetely biased 🙂. I love Pitt because:

- It has one of the best EM departments in the country (clinical training, research, etc), so all EM electives, etc., are extraordinary there.

- The Areas of Concentration are a great idea; I would love to do one in Global Health; if by some miracle I was to get a scholarship from them, I would also probably get an MPH

- Simulation labs!! Wow!!!!

- Curriculum set-up; only one 'science' class a time, with staggered exams, is a major plus for me... my bf is constantly freaking out because they have block exams at his school

- Great atmosphere! Love the look/feel of Pittsburgh!

The only downside for me is that it's about 6 hours away from my home, so I would have to leave my bf and family to go here... only seeing my sweetie once a month would be rough 🙁

Disclaimer: I don't really know anything about Rochester, so I can't comment on it!! Just telling you the stuff I LOVE about Pitt 🙂
