when did you guys interview? maybe you interviewed at different times and are in different batches therefore you were told that your decisions would be made at different times?

no, I interviewed the same week and they also told me Monday would be the day, but since then I spoke with the admissions office and they said it wouldn't be Monday but that it would be this week sometime.
Also, I heard that they are doing one last set of interviews for the alternate list. you should call rose and let her know that you are still interested in the school! good luck!

Just phoned in the news.... hopefully one of you get the spot, I know that you really would love it. It is a great school, and was a tough decision.

no they have three interview dates with 50 ppl each time for the spring interviews..the 11th, 18th, and (i'm assuming) yesterday were the three and i was told there is 40 spots for those interviewed. idk if they have extra interviews for the waitlist, i didn't ask about that. so anyone that interviewed recently were interviewing for a seat not for the alternate list.
i can't take the anticipation any longer!!!

yikes 40 spots for 150 interviewees! But they probably accept more than 40 since not all those that get accepted will deposit and say yes. Anyone know when they will finish giving notices on final decisions for all those who did and did not interview? I guess Upitt is wrapping up their cycle and finishing filling their seats as well.

Does this mean that the people whose AADSAS returned to "Recieved / Under Review" are NOT being accepted ths round? Seems like it...

mine was changed to received/under review a week ago and still is like that. i was accepted today so don't worry about aadsas that usually takes a little while to be updated, u still have a shot
did she say when she would stop calling? maybe knowing when the end is will help.
she didn't say much to me i practically started to hyperventiliate so she told me to take a breathe and finally when i did she said letters should be goin out hopefully today, that they are self explanatory, and that was pretty much it..it can't hurt to call if youre worried about it

Are all of you guys that got accepted out of state, in state, or both?. I was interviewed the 11th and I am freakin out. I still haven't heard anything. 🙁 So I was wondering if they were doing in state 1st!

Do you guys think she might keep calling people tomorrow. I called her 2 days ago and she said by friday they would be calling, so I wonder if that still holds true.....I really wanted to get in. I hope they call me tomorrow!By the way..congratulations to all of you!!!!!
i don't know how quickly she was able to call everyone but theres def still a chance that they have more ppl to call. don't stress too much about it, theres a chance all the way up to the first day of class so keep you hopes up 👍

congrats to all of you who got into pitt. I spoke to Rose today and they made their final choices for who was getting the last set of interviews and they are pretty much done with interviews. she said those who got interviews had min scores of 21 on each section. is there anyone who got accepted who had lower scores? just curious. anyway, congrats again!

yea if you look at my predents file you can see my highest score was only a 20. i applied to pitt kinda late too (midoctober)

i talked to rose friday afternoon and she wasn't totally finished calling but she said that most were out and now we have to wait another two weeks for those people to accept or decline and then they will send out more acceptances.....SOOOOOO if you don't want to go, more spots for us!
Did she say anything else or did any of you that called or got calls know if how many offers they are making and plan on going through? The committee must have made deicisons on all the people that interviewed so far so I wonder if we can call and ask what the status is?
yea, definately you should call rose and ask for ur status rather than just waiting to get a phone call. I have called her last friday and she told me that they have made their first decision and I figured out that I was the one of the accepted applicants there. So, just call and ask! Rose said she is going to make a phone call to everybody but I do not think it would happen in few days so.

In the way of calling her, I simply sent her an email thanking her for the opportunity to interview and she called me back within 20 minutes.

My understanding is that there is a three day orientation the first week of june (4th, 5th and 6th.... i think), the first deposit of $750 is due on the 13th of march, the second deposit is due on May 1st, and school starts on the 22nd of august. I hope that helps.
