For those of you who have interviewed, does anyone still have "invited for interview"? 😕
It seems like the status changed back to "Received/Under Review" for most of ppl here..

mine still says invited for interview and i interviewed there back on October 25th

Mine says received/under review...interviewed the first round in September...
 
Mine changed into Recieved/Under Review, two days after the interview.

I think it means nothing unless you have

"check back on dec 1" message
 
Mine changed back to "under review' about a week after the interview. :scared:
 
Yeah, it looks like those who got their status back to "Received/Under Review" on AADSAS will get accepted tomorrow... Damn... mine did not change 🙁

It seems odd to me that so many people had their status change to "received/under review" and not so many people with their status remaining "invited for Interview" Also, it seems odd to me that the dean would interview me and say "Hope to see you next year" at the end of the interview.... would reject me. My status is still invited for interview btw.

I read some old threads regarding this, and it seems like most of people who got accepted in the past had their status changed.

which one? was it the one where all post december intervewees talked? it might be different for post december interview students
 
Ahhh, I'm so nervous about Pittsburgh.

If anybody has their status changed to "Check back on Dec. 1st" -- please do let me know. I keep refreshing my AADSAS page.

What's ur current status? "Received/Under Review" or "Invited for Interview"?

Mine's currently "Received/Under Review." It has been that way since a week after my interview back in September.
 
seems like a lot of schools have updated the status.. any updates for pitt??

I interviewed there on Oct 25 too and my status was changed to Received/Under Review on 11/16..

I have no idea what that means though. Don't worry we will find out by tonight.. :xf:

According to AADSAS, my status was changed to "Received/Under Review" the day after my interview. But it hasn't changed since.

I called Admissions today, and was told that your AADSAS will be updated if you're accepted. You will also be mailed a letter. But if you don't receive any communication from them tomorrow, it's likely that you're waitlisted.

This makes me so terrified, because my AADSAS is still "Received/Under Review." It's already 4 EST, so if you're accepted, your AADSAS status should've already changed to "Check back on Dec 1st" -- right? 🙁

I'm wondering if Pitts is just drastically behind. Or SDNers just hold no luck there this year.
 
My friend emailed me yesterday telling me that the adcoms were meeting today lol

No worries. as far as I know, nobody's status has changed yet from received/under review, so you are good. Based on responses from previous years, you might even get the letter before the status on AADSAS changes. so if your status doesn't change right away on 12/1 just be patient and wait for couple of days.
 
I know for Pitt, a lot of my friends saw the status change on AADSAS and had Dean Etzel call the next morning. Just a heads up on what will happen. They said the portal said "Offer made" or something to that affect.

As for if no change is made, I'm not sure it immediately condemns you to the waitlist.

Is this a status change at midnight??
 
Yeah it was at midnight. We were all the bar and she called me to say the portal changed. That's all I know.
 
To be completely fair, more around 1AM we got the news. The website will be very slow with everyone checking.

hmmmm... it seems like we are not gonna see this "Check Back on Dec. 1st" status for pitt tonight.. It's almost 9 EST and mine still has not changed. Let's see what it says at midnight.

It's past midnight, and mine's still stuck on "Received/Under Review." Rather anti-climatically depressing.

Did it change to "Offer made" for anybody? I think I'll sleep on it and hope for the best comes morning!

AADSAS was updated at 8 AM EST.

My status is still "Received/Under Review."

Did anybody's status change to "Offer made"? I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping Pitts just hasn't updated their status on AADSAS yet.

I don't think they updated AADSAS yet. Mine still says "invited for interview"..

Finally they updated AADSAS, go check if you haven't already.
 
Mine is still Under Review as well.. not sure what is going on ha ha.
 
MIne chNged from inv to interview to under review
 
just changed from "Under Review" to "Offer made"!!
