Hi,
Does anyone know if transcription of plasmid DNA only occurs when plasmids are being replicated?
I recall doing problems in my genetics class where you had to map out a plasmid via when you saw certain proteins were being expressed (namely, resistance) while it was replicated. I didn't give much thought to it at the time, but then I found a similar problem in the official study guide.
THanks all!
