So, i'm confused about two things that just need really simple answer:
EK says thats Platelets do not contain organelles, but they do contain mitochondria. So, if an MCAT question asks me it Platelets contain mitochondria my answer is? Yes?
Also, my understanding of Chromosomal Duplication from Exam Krackers is that a segment of chromosome breaks off from a chromosome (aka: deletion) and then attaches to another chromosome. My question is... doesn't duplication imply there would be two copies of the gene/segment of chromosome? Am i understanding this concept wrong?
Thanks!
