HI!
I am an IMG currently doing PGY1 transitional & applying for neurology PGY2.Does somebody have a list of programs which accept transitional year as PGY1 & do not emphasize on IM as PGY1.I am ofcourse doing 6 mths IM,a month of ER & a month of paeds as per ABPN requirements..

Another thing...I still have to request my reco letter whic hI am going to do on Monday.How do you tell them to send reco letters?Do u ask them to directly send to sfmatch/CAS .Then how do u make sure they all reach in time..I am very confused abt all this...

also...this time sfmatch is not participating in SHORT match..still the programs have asked to submit CAS application..does that mean that I can submit the application( printing from website) on my own or do I still need to send it to CAS & then wait for them to send to individual programs..I am already registered in sfmacth but I guess sending to CAS system & then waiting for them to take 3 weeks to distribute will be a long time ..


Please someone clarify..specially abt how to send LORs to CAS so that the application & lORs reach them together..I have no idea how it works...
