most hydrogen secreted from kidney in form of
NH3
HCO3
i thought it is NH4 as NH4CL

Rx of DM
decrease receptor for insulin
decrease receptor for glucagon

solution with ph6
and another solution ph7
which of following right:
1-A has 1/10 as many hydrogen ion as B ph is low ,it means that there is a high conc of hydrogen ion
2-A has 10 times more H than B
i do not understand this can someone explain

please answer this for me ..

Rx for DM.
you should mention which one you talking about 1 or 2.
i guess there should be a an option of exercise , that is the best one.
or sometimes the question is like that.
how do exercise helps in controlling DM?

if thats not the case then decreasing receptors for glucagon should be the answer

ph is the -ve log of H ion concentration
if the ph is 7 then the h ion concentration is 0.0000001
if the ph is 6 then the H ion concentration is 0.000001
so the lower the ph higher the H ion concentration of Hion
and for decrease in ph by 1 means that H ion concentration is 10 times more
moreover concentration of H ion + OH is always constant.
if the H ion conc increases it shows OH ion conc increases.
thus in the question
So, the H ion conc of the solution with ph 7 is less than that of the solution whose ph is 6
but the OH ion conc of the solution with ph 7 is more than that of the solution whose ph is 6

remember that pH = -log [H+] ; log is in base 10, thus for every 1 pH unit, the concentration of H is a multiple of 10

ex: solution with a pH of 2 has 1000x more H+ than a solution with a pH of 5 (10^3=1000)

if you want a more detailed explination look up properties of logarithms, or open a general chemistry text book and read through the acids/bases chapter

this is a random Q, but if you're pre-dental, why are you always making post with WAYYY more difficult questions then you'll ever need to know until you take the boards? you trying to get a head start or something???

Ans NH3

which muscles for floor of carotid triangle?

Ans Hypoglossal

activity contributing to calculus formation except:
alkaline phosphatase
acid phosphatase

esterase
collagenase

Alkaline phosphatase(not 100% sure)

Rx of DM
decrease receptor for insulin
decrease receptor for glucagon

Ans Decreased receptor for glucagon.

cortisol increase synthesis in liver of:
glucokinase
PFK
pyruvate carboxylase
pyruvate kinase

Ans pyruvate carboxylase

Thinking btween 2 & 5

going towards 2
Coz when we do this test the area shd be dry coz moisture & necrotic tissue gives falls +ve test.

which is characteristic of proteolytic cell
golgi
ER

ER

Please correct me if I am wrong.....🙂

are you sure about the answer to 1st question
i also think H ion is secreted as NH4CL not as NH3
you have any references?

if mand nerve is cut below medulla

passive
facilitated

#5 is incorrect . It just doesn't work with batteries, you have to charge it. "Electric". And it just doesn't work if is not charged enough. (Good isolation is the key for that test!!)
