Please don't hold back 🙂 Any and all words of praise AND criticism will be greatly appreciated! My goal is to get into a med school like Tulane, Mayo, or UC Davis. Grades and MCAT aside, I was just wondering if I am competitive enough EC-wise. I try to orient my EC around things I care about, like Alzheimers.

The following are some concerns I have. If you have any input, please lemme know 🙂
(1) I just started shadowing (summer before junior year); based on current rate, I will have at least 200 hours. Is it okay my shadowing experiences do not take over a period of several years? Will that count against me?
(2) I haven't published any papers.
(3) Should I become an EMT to have a more hands on experience? (Similarly, should I add on more ECs?)

*My ECs:
One semester of paid Psychology research (no published paper, just worked as a research assistant)
One summer of Alzheimers research (volunteer position, just worked as a research assistant)
Two semesters of Alzheimers research
200 hours of shadowing
300 hours of Alzheimers volunteering in a hospital
200 hours as a scribe (2 semesters+1 summer)
President/founder of Alzheimers club
President/founder of club that plays music to patients in waiting room
100 hours as a volunteer that plays music in a local hospital
