All moderators are volunteers here on SDN. After 4000 posts and over 1000 hours of online service, I have not received a dime from SDN. However, I do it because SDN is a great resource for students, residents, and young physicians.

Thanks to all who have donated! We've raised enough money over the weekend to puchase a new mail server for SDN that will speed up service for everyone here. Please continue to donate because SDN has grown from one small server to now five dedicated servers. SDN's bandwidth is also very expensive considering the millions of web pages being served monthly.
