there are 3 nucleotides in 1 codon and 1 codon that specifies one amino acid. so if there are 80 amino acids, you multiply those 80 amino acids by 3 nucleotides/per amino acid which gives you 3*80=240.

yep C is the best. I'm sure the DAT would not delve into introns and exons so just understand 3 codons for 1 amino acid

C is correct because you should not include anything that comes after the 80th amino acid (for ex. stop codon..or other nucleotides that prevents the mRNA from degradation). The problem is JUST talking about only the 80 AA
