Hello everyone.

I have a problem with Dean's LOR. There is no such practice in our university to give LORs for foreign countries. They can give only copy (not even official) of the Dean's recommendation that is stored in my personal case in the university. And it's hard and long even to get this!!! 🙁
Also I have a copy of Dean's LOR for military service, there is a note there "Issued for military service".
Of course, my Dean will never submit my LOR to CAAPID.

Maybe anyone know people that are accepted to programs without Deans letter? And what do you think, my copy of Dean's letter for military service can be suitable for schools with explanation of my situation?

Please, give an advice🙂

Thank you and best of health!

Oh, thats hard luck.
But may be you can request your school to give paper copy of LOR addressing to whomsoever concern.
Then you can upload scanned version of LOR to specific program site. They will most probably accept it as official.

Yes, you can get selected without dean's LOR, if its not possible for you to obtain. Explain your situation to school admissions office through email or mail along with supplimental application and substitutement dean's LOR with other strong evaluators, i.e. HOD professors, previous employers, US dentist, etc.

Do not loose hope, keep working hard towards goal.
All the best.
