I am looking for surgpath fellowship. Very interested in NYU and Rhode Island (Brown University) programs. Went to NYU for interview last month and have positive feeling. Rhode Island interview is next week. Location doesn't matter to me at all. Don't know if it is worthy of going to Rhode Island. Would like to cancel intervew in Rhode Island. I am here to wait for your inputs. Appreciate.

Don't cancel any interviews until you have a signed contract at one program. Again, it is to their advantage to make everyone feel good when they come to interview so they can keep you in their back pocket if they need you. Recruiting 101. My suggestion is to go to Brown and put your best foot forward.

Absolutely. It would be foolish to cancel interviews before you have locked up a spot somewhere. I did several fellowship interviews this season. One gave me very favorable indications (including post-interview phone calls), but ultimately did not offer me the position. Consider yourself warned.
