Just a quick question. Being a FTD do i need to get a dental assisting diploma if i wanna work as one.Any info is greatly appreciated .Thnx in advance

You dont need a diploma. However they prefer to have assistants who have a X-Ray license at the minimum.

check with the state board what they need. most of states need an x ray certification or DANB exam (dental assistant national board- google it to get all info)

Most of the time no. But some states and/ or offices need a trained assistants. Some also require a X ray license/certificate.
