At times, there may not be physical findings for a particular diagnosis.

For instance, if the patient has difficulty swallowing. Something on the differential might be peptic stricture. I can think of a lot of items to put in the History part.

However, I can't think of a single thing on physical exam that might support Peptic Stricture.

For something like that, would it be okay for me to leave the "Physical findings" part of the DDx blank?

Their sample form indicates that you can indicate positive OR negative findings that support your diagnosis. I took the old exam, but if it were mere I would try to include at least 1 thing in the hx and physical section. Ie for peptic stricture you could include intact UMN+LMN findings, suggesting its less likely a neurological disorder and therefore peptic stricture is higher up on your list.

Again, speculation. I hear test prep companies get advance info on test changes. Have they come out with an updated FA CS?
