If you were diagnosis with CIN II (moderate dysplasia)after a cervical pap/colpo.Then after tx and after 5 years of neg pap smear-> when is your next pap smear? 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years?????

Also, when residents say Prolonged latent phase or Protracted active phase, does prolong always refer to latent phase just like protracted refer to active phase. For instance can you say prolong active phase or protracted latent phase. I thought "prolong" dealt with latent phase which involves effacement and dilatation<4cm, while protracted and arrest dealt with active phase which involvedeither slow or complete arrest of dilatation and descent.
These 2 questions are killing me.
Thanks!

annual screening for 20 years min.

From the Compendium: After age 30 if you have a negative pap and negative HPV you can go to screening every 3 years. You still need an annual physical including pelvic and clinical breast exam though.

But is that the recommendation for someone with a history of CIN?
