I am a Canadian applicant applying to US medical schools. My EC and interviewing skills are great so please focus on my stats and list. My GPA is 3.68 and my MCAT is 35. Can someone please review my list of schools?

Also, Eastern Virginia states "Only citizens and permanent residents of the United States may apply to this program" on AMCAS. I want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. If a school says this on AMCAS, I shouldn't bother applying because I am not a US citizen or permanent resident?

I would greatly appreciate any feedback!

Yup! Many schools require greenn card or citizenship. Lacking either will make it impossible to get federal loans too.

I have to ask: what's wrong with the Canadian medical schools???

You GPA is good, but MCAT is below avg for anuymber of those schools. My modifed list below. This is, of course, prending whether they'll take a Canadian. VERY unlikley that public schools wil accept you. They favor the home team. STRONGLY urge you to invest int eh MSAR. You'll find out immediately how you stack up against their matriuclants, and find out if they accept international applicants (for example, Tufts does.)

Thanks a lot.
I am applying to Canadian medical schools, but their admission selection is BRUTAL. I want to apply broadly (US, Canada, and St Georges).

I'm honestly so terrified by this whole process that I want to apply to the low tier schools as well. I don't want to assume I can do better than any school because there are no guarantees and that's very stressful 🙁

You can do better than Caribbean diploma mills.
