I just checked AADSAS today and found out that my status of Marquette University was showing "Received/Application Denied". It means I got rejection..am I right?

There was no such sign, "Received/Application Complete"....I am so disappointed....🙁 Yesterday I just finished my DAT and sent my improved score compared before...NOW I wasted $25...for nothing...

Is there any hope that they will change my status to "under review" ?
Or, What have done with rejection is done? The end of a game?

Please let me know about it....PLEASE give me ANY KIND OF ADVISES..so desparate..🙁

I really cannot give you any advices other than calling and informing them of your retake, and see if they will reconsider your application.

"Received/ Application Denied" is a rejection. You should call and tell them that you jsut sent in updated DAT scores and see if they'll reconsider.

some schools allow you to ask for a re review (i know nyu does). so, call them up monday morning and fight for you case. as strange as this sounds, a lot of students call up schools and speak to the admissions people to try and lobby for themselves; it always works. lobbying will get you anywhere, as long as you know how to do it.

how would u know who to contact though? plus, they dont give out phone numbers do they?

all the contact information is on their websites. just call up the admissions office and ask to speak to anyone in charge of admissions. they MIGHT let you speak to the director of admissions, but most of them will put you through to some one else.

Yeah...I got improved scores (AA 21/TS 20/PAT 24) compared to before (AA 18/TS 19/PAT 21)..you guys think it's not enough? OMG...so many people with very high scores these days..🙁

Those are good scores. I would call them up for sure. It doesn't hurt to try. If it does not work out this round you're set up for next year with a early application.

No interviews...so far nothing for 17 schools since I am a late applicant (applied at 10/09)...ahh...GPA is low(3.15), BCP is low(3.12), not many experiences (shadowing for 50 hours) but still hoping for at least ONE INTERVIEW..🙁 I hope my graduate school GPA (3.5 in Cornell Statistics) and personal dental assistance for 1 year) help me...

begging for some sweet advises from you guys...🙂

I had 5 interviews (early) and I still didn't hear anything positive today. Today was definitely a crap downer. SHEESH! When will I know!!! WHEN WILL I KNOW!!!!😱😡

Just be patient. Today is the first day to hear about acceptances but certainly not the only day. I applied back in August and didn't get contacted for my first interview until October (4 so far). I too applied with a Masters degree. I have an acceptance, and still have a couple more interviews to go. Keep your head up and believe in yourself and that your stats are good enough. You are going to need to have this mindset when you do start getting interviews. 🙂

I retook the DAT recently as well, and it took a while for schools to respond. If your retake was fairly recent, give it some time. I have my first interview next week, so no, this game is far from over for you.
