rephrase the question, not clear...

means how we design lingual arch dital shoe or band & loop nance appliance in terms of where we keep the wire ie how many millimeter either on tooth or gingivae what r the indication and contraindication of each applince

I suggest you get some decent text books to study all subjects. You seem to ask lots of basic questions. I don't see how you are going to pass the boards base on some random answers from an internet forum.

Yeah, I think you should go to a dental bookstore and buy some decent textbooks. You will need them later in your practice.

Nance appliance: 2 upper molar bands with acrylic button that sits in the middle of the palate. It helps prevent mesial drifting of # 3 and 14 when #A and J are prematurely extracted. It is also commonly used for orthodontic anchorage.

Lingual arch: 2 lower molar bands connecting to a lingual bar. It is used to prevent mesial drifting of # 19 and 30 when both K and T are prematurely extracted. It is also used for orthodontic anchorage.

Band and Loop: One molar band with an extension arm touching the distal of primary 1st molar. It is a unilateral appliance that helps preserve the leeway space (or e space) when only one primary 2nd molar (A, J, K, or T) is prematurely extracted.

Distal Shoe appliance: one band (on the primary 1st molar) with distal extension arm and V-shape guide plane. It is also a unilateral appliance that helps guide the unerupted permanent 1st molar to erupt properly. It is used when primary 2nd molar is extracted and the permanent 1st molar has not erupted.
