Hello, so long story short, I contacted a dental office last ween and they told me that their dentists don't mind at all for me to shadow them, so I told them I would like to start shadowing from this Wednesday. Then, they asked me how many times I would like to shadow, and I told them I would really appreciate if I could shadow them twice a week for five weeks and 25~30 hours in total. Since then, I've not gotten a respond and its been about 6 days. This made me to wonder if I've made a mistake on specifically expressing how many hours I'm intending to shadow. I would like to send them a verifying email and make sure if I'm still allowed to shadow. The following is the content that I want to send:

Hello,

Hi, this is such and such from ___c0llege, and I would like to just let you know that I'm hoping to start my shadowing from this upcoming Wednesday. If there is any problem, please don't hesitate and let me know via email or phone call.

sincerely,

I really want to be polite and don't sound rude on my wording, but I just cannot think of any other phrase choice for "let you know" (I'm an non-native speaker so my English is pretty terrible).

so, please help me on my phrasing 🙁

please don't hesitate to contact me via phone or email.

Call them at the very least. I'd also be offended if somebody was going to shadow me and didn't even come speak to me in person if they were available.

Is there a reason you can't call or stop by in person?

Office emails aren't always tended by the same person, and they are often pushed aside if deemed not a priority. They're also very impersonal.

A friendly visit might work in your favor, not just now, but also in future endeavors.
I

I did call them at first and they suggested me to email them. But I will make sure to call them again to verify it. Thank you
