Please help on NBME score

Hi guys,

I have a month to study fo my exam. I just did the NBME I downloaded form and scored 139/200. Can anybody tell me the estimatation of this score on the step 1? I will do another NBME form online as two weeks before the exams. Please any help will be appreciated.

the exams, just like the real exam are curved so no one knows what % correct correlates to. best is to just buy the exam and take it and have nbme score it. but that's like not even 70% so i would have to say that's passing but barely.

I would bet that is right at a 185, but NBME 1 is also known for being easier than all the others, so it might not even be passing.

i agree with RussianJoo's advice. besides, you can't even be 100% sure that you got 139 questions correct. after all, only the NBME knows the ideal answers and which questions are experimental etc...

the best thing about the NBMEs is the fact that you get a predicted score which is very accurate, and that you get a subject performance breakdown chart which can help re-direct your study plans.

Honestly, since he used the online answers, he might ahve gotten a higher score. When I looked through some of the form 2 answers it was ridiculous how many of them were just plain wrong. It looked like a 2nd grader took the test.
