Please Help! Wayne State vs. Drexel (West Reading Campus)

Please help me decide as I was accepted to both off the waitlist and they are my only MD options!

Wayne State
Pros

• well established
• large urban city to live in
• rotations mostly in Detroit metro
• large class size, more things to do, nearby research opportunities

Cons

• slightly higher cost for OOS
• reputation of poor communication from admin

Drexel (West Reading Campus)
Pros

• have their own teaching hospital for rotations
• 2hr drive distance to my partner

Cons

• small program in a small town
• lower US News Rank compared to Wayne (idk how important this is for residency matching)

Summary: My top choice was the Philadelphia Drexel campus so that I could join my partner in the city but I was assigned to Reading instead. I prefer more of an urban place to live, especially as I am moving from a very large city in a state different from both Michigan and Pennsylvania. Any and all input is appreciated!
