Please help with what programs to apply for?

hello, everyone!

I am applying in this upcoming september. Just wondering if you guys could give me a heads up what to expect and what programs i have a good chance to get in. Please, i know my stats are not great but i have passed everything that is required to start my internship. here whats i have:

Ross Grad of 2010!
ECFMG Certified
Good Grades, No fails
A's in Medicine core and Medicine Sub-I
2 Lors from IM chair and PD
Step 1: 216/89
Step 2 ck: 200/82
Step 2 cs: Passed

Do i have any chance in gods green earth of getting into a california program? i know my chances are slim to zero coming from ross and slim has just left the building.😡

You mean a university program? Or simply finding a spot in a community program?

There really aren't any "low-tier" university programs in California. Don't apply to the UC's, Cedars, or Scripps-Green and I think you've got a decent to good shot anywhere else, depending on PD preferences regarding Carib grads. I'd definitely send apps to USC, Loma Linda, and Fresno. Oliveview, Pasadena, and Harbor may not interview you, BUT I'd still send them and app and see what happens. Community programs I've heard about, non-affiliated, of note: any Kaiser, White Memorial (LA), and St. Mary's (SF).

Ok! thank you for your help. I would not have wasted my money on the UC's anyways even though i went to undergrad at one of them...what do u think as far as programs across country? you think i can match to a decent program regardless of location. I guess thats based on my crendentials. I am personable and should interview ok..so, can you give some some reachable vs out-of-reach programs? thank you very much!

The reason i did not apply last year was because i was not ready to take cs and ck by feb, hence i did not participate in the match. now that i have everything and ecfmg certified, hopefully i will get some success when i do apply.
