Hello everyone,

I need to start preparing for NBDE part II and wanted to know if dental deck and old exams are sufficient to pass. Also are there recommendations regarding specific exams that you found very helpful? If you feel that decks and old exams are not enough could you please recommend any books/other materials? I would prefer not to overwhelm myself with study material since I feel it would decrease my chances of passing. Also how long did you study for? I hear people saying that they studied 2 weeks or less and I don't think I would pass if I did that. So I am not sure if they are being dishonest or if they are geniuses. All I have to say is that I had to study hard for part I and really want to pass part II because otherwise I probably won't finish school on time. My school used to be really good at preparing us, but they recently made changes in terms of the staff that used to be in charge of advising us for boards so they no longer give us any preparation materials, advice, etc.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank You,
FARA

I focused mostly on decks and, to a lesser extent, old exams. Part II is somewhat different than Part I in the fact that you are using more of the information on a daily basis.
