yes,we do take time to settle...but the returns are much more than what a software does.thats another matter that to get through all this is like climbing one mountain after another.

hey, think of different professions as races..........
The difference is that we win a long one and others win short ones........therefore they get decent returns in a short time, where as we get much much more a little while later..........In the end....its how much u accomplish.....not when u accomplish............👍

1)we(dentists) are " lambi race ka ghoda" .....😉
2) after u are done with studying and license .... y to worry about loans ..... enjoy life dude...... here in usa dental students study after taking loan for 4 yr... we only take 2 yr loan
3) Its always with us that we like someone else things better.... but try to find love and happiness with what we have, u will surely have get it.
4) In my country INDIA doctors are worshiped as GOD.

its just my view guys,
international dental program is 2-3 yrs.and if you want to do speciality,you have be competent so no holidays and speciality will take 3 yrs and by the time you finish you would like to settle somewhere so will like to buy a home then after a year you will like to build dental office.so you have to pay for IDP loan then specialty loan then home loan then dental office loan .along with this if you are a girl you have to have babies and want to spend time with them with no time remaining with hectic work we already have.above all this if you are 30 and above you will be doing all this till 40.Software side people complete degree at about 23 yrs they come and start doing job and spend time with frineds in the weekends not like what we do 'sticking to the books'.so we will deprived social activities.what is your opinion guys,I am seriously thinking of shifting my profession,but you know its like seperating my soul from me.any suggestions will definately help.

hi DDS im taking this exam again i have a baby still not here with me but still im trying to get through with it.........only lucky few do DDS and it is highly paid profession so,,,,,have patience u r doing it but people r dying to get into it.........with best wishes..👍

HI DDS, what u r going through is same feeling i was but after reading your thread looks like it not good to leave your profession ..me too giving the second thought of changing the profession but when i think i feel i am thinking wrong ...ans escaping behavipur is not good then it will become your habbit people who are dentis or got admession here not gods or any miracle happened with them just have patience and try certainey we will get this otherwise something good is weitten for us not DDS NAY BE SOMETHING ELSE ,.but u should not repend later in your life so stick to this and give your 100%
