Hi friends,
Yes I interviewed on 12/10. It was awesome! The school will be one of the best school in the making. Students were promt for the interview and some had coffee upon arrival 'cos it was chilling. I love it though. we started exchanging pleasantries and it was all fun. The students were all niece and the dean and members of the faculty were super super niece. I really did not feel like leaving Oregon if not that I have some finals to write. We were like a little family over there and it was the greatest moment of my life.
The dean is exceptional. I felt like crying seeing how much love he has for the students. He blended and could pass for a student except that we all have this conciousness that he is the dean. Dr............ I prayed that God will bless you 'cos you are a blessing to this generation. The curriculum were well explained and all the students were excited. The goals and objectives of the school were all ideal. I was asking my self what they were waiting for all these while before starting the program. Any way, the answer was not far fetched. It came at the right time so that I could get accepted and get my Pharm D from my dream school.
The essay was alright and straight to the point. The admission cordinator Ms....... was one in a million and was always beaming with smile. Ms.D........... was so nice and warm and she took all our pictures. The Faculty members were all informed and they all showned a sincere interest in the success of the students.
In all honesty, any graduate of Pacific Univesrity school of Pharmacy will be a top shot 'cos the program is so enriched and I can't wait to get in. The interview was laid back and more of a conversation. They just want to know more of you. I did the best i know how in the interview and the rest I am leaving for God.
I was asked how I make my decisions, and knowing that my faith is a valuable assests in times like that, I answered I will pray and then I will weigh all the options I got and then arrange my ideas in the order of prefrence. I was also asked Why pacific and why Pharmacy. I answered for Pharmacy that I needed a career that will enable me help people and at the same time avail me time to spend with my family since charity they say starts at home. I wanted a career that will harness all the compassion in me and use it to save life through drug administartion and counselling.
I guess that is it. Please take some moment and say a prayer for me as I lean on God to get in. God bless you all.
