Candida albicans is a dimorphic fungus, i.e. it can take two forms.
I found it by google search.

hi..
yes..candida is right, butthe answer bank says epitrychomatis
anyone for the rest of the questions..these r latest questions...

ans is collagen connective tisue...since tmj does not hav hyaline cartilage..
it has dense fibrocartilage.

epidemic of HIV-related disease bears major responsibility for the resurgence of which respiratory pathogen?
-strep pneumonia
-hemophilus influenza
-strep pyogenes
-mycobacter tuberculosis
-mycoplasma pneumonia
ans-strep pneumonia causes pneumonia in aids patients...
mycoplasma causes atypical pneumonia in young adults..

wat is the method of gene transfer in bacteria that is least prone to dnase activity and does not need cell to cell contact..
1.transformation
2.conjugation
3.transduction..
pls explain ..also..

3.transduction..

definitely not conjugation as it requires cell to cell contact.....it's the "bacterial sex"
transformation is uptake of naked DNA so it is dnase susceptible
transduction however involves viral phage and is therefore dnase resistant and also does not require cell to cell contact

1.hypovolemic.

3. Neurogenic shock-It is caused by trauma to the spinal cord resulting in the sudden loss of autonomic and motor reflexes below the injury level. Without stimulation by sympathetic nervous system the vessel walls relax uncontrolled, resulting in a sudden decrease in peripheral vascular resistance, leading to vasodilation and hypotension.

i thought it was collagenous connective tissue...

Thanks a lot for your answers.
which of the following nerves is the most likely to become injured in fractures of the mid humeral shaft?

are you sure about this? I thought it should be median b/c of its position in mid humeral?

you are right. Thanks. Pili connects the bacterium to another of its species, or to another bacterium of a different species, for bacterial conjugation.
