Hi
i have seen few universities asking for passing scores in all 4 sections as
compulsion so does it mean 75 in each section or just 50% marks like
50/100 coz i have 62 in physio /bio
thanks in advance

Hi,
that's weird,
cos most of the schools just need the total score pass, but why dont you just ask them?

I think you have to retake physio biochem because in order to pass part 1 u need to pass all sections individually as well. Atleast when I took the test in 2005 it was this way.If it has changed now....then I dont know.
Please Confirm!

From what i know, the official score report that goes to the schools (not the one u get first up) does not report individual scores. All it reports is ur final composite score. you can double check it by ordering an extra copy at ur home address.
hope that helps.

yes i agree..
till 2005 it was just pass in individual scores but the new system says, you need good percentage overall..

dont worry fox,
its not needed that we must have above 75 in all sections. because now a days national mean itself is lower that 70, especially in biochem. so not to worry as long as u have PASS the exam. and yr overall is good above 80.

thanks dagu and everyone for valuable inputs

Could you all tell me wether 86 in new pattern is a good score or not? I am really confused wether to retake it or take part2?
