Hey India ... go ahead and apply (F-A-S-T !!!) if you don't mind the application fee of $125. You only have a couple of weeks to put your application together. You have until 3/31/06 I think (not sure).
I got waitlisted last year.
During the interview there were about 3 applicants in my batch alone (there were 2 interview batches) with part I scores lower than %80.
HOWEVER, your part I score does not guarantee that you will get an interview.
You must also keep in mind that last year was UC's 2nd year only to accept ISP (International Student Program) applications, as the program is new. Now, it has gained some more popularity, and the competition will only go up from here.
Another significant point to mention here, is that they give preference to applicants who have completed part II also.
If you have a strong enough application, you might be called for an interview, and hopefully get addmitted.
GOOD LUCK !

Hi

Thank you for your replies. I have one more question plz advise.
In the application packet for Univ. of Colorado they ask for two essays, one on dental experience and the other on goals. Can we attach our CV instead of the essay as in the form they do mention it. Plz verify and help me.
