I am a foreign trained dentist and I am giving my nbde part 1. I have filled the online application for the paper based exam and when I called the testing services they told me that to establish my eligibilty I could send a photostat copy of the ece report or fax the report to them.

Is it necessary for me to send the report directly thru the ece.
Pls help as I am in dilemma.

the testing services must have ur ece report with them to process ur application for part 1. when i first applied to ece for evaluation, i had requested one score report to be sent to me, and one copy of the report to be sent to the ada, as u can request 2 copies. if the testing services have asked u to fax or to send ur ece report, i feel u should fax it to them asap.

call ada testing services and tell them that u've faxed the ece report to them, if they still insist on receiving the ece report from ece directly, request ece to send one to ada, i feel the best thing to do would be call up ada and ask them.

You can send a copy to ADA, if u have forgotten to request ECE to send it directly...I sent it myself..There was no problem, I got it evaluated too..
I know its clearly said in their web, that they need a copy from ECE directly..but they were not that fuzzy when I spoke to them..They just need an Original copy, thats all..

Hi, i too had similar problem. Even though i have requested ECE to send report to ADA, but ADA havent received on time. I called ADA and faxed my ece report.
Yes, ADA accept fax copies, if you give them reasonable reason.
