phosphorylation of pka medial pterygoid causes ??????

glcogenolysis,, gluconeogenesis

What does it mean, i cant get question?

The answer is glycogenolysis
explanation - Preotein kinase A when this is phosphorylated it activates glycogen phosphorylase and decrease pyruvate kinase.
check in kaplan it is given.

Hourglass pattern is seen in mandibular 2nd premolar..

The root of second premolar has a generally more flattened shape in the mesiodistal direction and a correspondingly oval pulp chamber. It may be constricted at the center with a corresponding hourglass shape.

it is the only premolar with this pattern.

There are so many answers to this but think the mand 2nd premolar isthe one witht he hour glass.
Can someone clarify?

hello guys i think the answer for hourglass pattern are found in mandibular CI, mandibular LI & mandibular 1st PM.AS all these teeth has mesial &distal root concavities so givethe shape of hourglass pattern to the root.
this information is based on ingle's endodontics.it's also on google book search.

I love it. The good news is, there seems to be a consensus developing that it's not a molar. That's a start. 250 more replies, and you might have yourselves an answer...or you can just take my word for it that it's the maxillary first premolar.

The anwser is Max PM 1

Ref: Concise dental anatomy and morphology pg 78, Fourth edition
