hi
can nayone plz explain where the sensation from left side are felt in brain and also the motor function
are these on the opposite side or the same side.
plus the sensations n motor of face too
i ll really appreciate the help

It depends on which level the lesion is.
Pick up a Neuro Anatomy Atlas and take a look at the Spinal Tracts. Some fibers cross over to the other side in the Medulla or white commissure. So for example if u have a stroke in the brain involving the Anterior Cerebral Artery(motor and Sensory),, the Lateral Corticospinal descends ipsilaterally till it gets to the Medula where it crosses over to the other side so logically motor and sensation deficit will be on the opposite side

Sensation from left side of the body are received eventually in the right sensory strip. Sensation from the leg is received in the medial part of the sensory strip, while the rest of the body is at the lateral part. The same applies for the motor functions.

I strongly advise you to take a look at the pyramidal tract. Good luck 🙂
