I'm wondering is anybody know the pod schools ranking in term of selectiveness. Like the schools with high and low GPA and MCAT acceptance?

Your not going to get a straight forward answer on this question. Everyone has their own opinions about the podiatric medical schools they applied to, were accepted at, and are currently attending. You are better off doing a search and forming your own decision then reading the speculation and propaganda that is posted 99% of the time on the pre-pod forum.

To the OP there is no actual ranking. studywith is right you will only get opinions in this forum. So here's mine. I think this is be the order of difficulty to gain acceptance.

DMU/AZPOD
Scholl
Western
TUSPM/CSPM/Barry/NYCPM
OCPM

Seriously guys? Get out your old-fashioned dictionaries and look up "oxymoron." I go to the highly revered DMU (according to you SDN people), and the average MCAT is 23 and sGPA of 3.24.
How is that selective? Last year was 25, this year 23. In another thread somebody was asking about getting into some school because of some grade. The reality is most people get into pod school in spite their grades.

Its changing, but still....

I miss thetachi. I need to PM him and see how school is. He was a good guy, I tended to pick on him in my less mature, pre-pod days. I try and be more positive now, but old habits, reputations and dead hooker smells are all hard to get rid of. Time will tell.

Back to the topic. I agree 100% with studywithfury. When it comes to which school is the hardest, easiest to get into...it's all speculation.

There is a simple solution, instead of students giving their opinions. All schools have compiled their stats, and thus have been ranked with which schools have the highest and lowest incoming stats. I only know of this list, I do not have it. Perhaps The Real School could provide it to us...
