Just brushing up on my CV and trying to keep it current so it will be ready when residency applications come around...

Does anyone know of some good templates or samples that can be used as a rough guide? I found a couple for MD, but there were really old and didn't have much to them.

What sections, if any, should we have in a Podiatry related CV that might be different than MD?

hi darazon,

write your bachelor degree, then your expected year for dpm degree, your honors, scholarships, awards, then your certifications and then the associations you are part of like APMA young members and any rank you may have such as president of podiatry women's club.

dont forget to add current address, email and phone number.

dont write anything personal like you enjoy bird watching or soccer or something, stick to things that are work or education related.

good luck.

They should be very similar - undergraduate education, emphasis on publications, current projects/papers, professional affiliations, certifications (including NBPME part I, II, III), extracurriculars (relevant). You should also include a small blurb about your professional interests (i.e. reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with emphasis on trauma/limb salvage/etc.)
