I read a lot about how podiatrists can provide profits to places like ASCs and hospitals and how it's a worthwhile investment; but I was wondering, where does one go to find that information if they're calling around during the job hunt

I'd check out this presentation from APMA. It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it can help show you how much podiatrists are producing in the hospital setting. It is a few years old so the info is becoming a bit dated.
