No matter what you're looking at online, you'll find a range of salaries. There isn't one set number for any kind of specialist. It's all about how hard you work, no matter what you do.
 
I agree with MaseratiGT, there is a large spectrum of pay in every profession. Don't be fooled by naysayers who tell you that podiatrists won't make six figures, thanks to the podiatrists that have gone before us, we have a great opportunity to make well above $100,000 a year. That doesn't mean we all will, but if we work hard it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect it.
