Usually either the
1) the mayor decides
2) the mods have a pre-determined tie breaker (like who received the vote first, or who reached the lead most recently, etc). OR
3) if you have a really mean mod (like me) they kill BOTH!

If we have 3 letters (XYZ) for todays lynch, I wonder if those might mean Krist, Sheepie, and Ser Dem?

I keep going back between dead people votes and some sort of silenced but can vote anonymously votes for those mysterious letters. But then, I have not had the time or motivation to actually go and cross-check how many people dead on what nights (esp with the resurrections and all) and how many letter voters there were.

I can't say it with 100% certainty, but I have pretty good reason to think that the Ash Hat (as I've heard it called) is a self-protective item. I'd say I'm about 90% confident.

I'm assuming that's the same thing you had/lost.

why are you so obsessed with ser dem?

i get that you're worried about a conversion, but when are you going to be satisfied? if s/he checks out tonight, then will you want another investigation tomorrow? and the day after? and the day after?

or was there a specific reason why you think ser dem was converted?

Because SOV was saying he/she was suspicious a few posts back so I used the Pokedex, but nothing bad came up.

And then I remembered SOV said Devyn was investigated and found to be just a Lapras, however when I used the Pokedex again(I didn't know Devyn was already investigated) it said she was a member of Team Rocket.

I just want to see if you need to use the Pokedex twice to be able to see if someone is a member you know?

I think we can pretty safely assume that devyn was converted somehow based on the writeup by the mods..

I'm alive but I'm a bit scared to vote after that last lynch.. Also I can say Ser Dem is not a wolf unless he/she converted..?

I just want to point out that a mod pet peeve (at least this for me) is when people don't vote. It's a major part of how the game is played. Unfortunately sometimes it will be a villager. And depending on the villager they might get really mad (this includes myself😉 ), but it is how the game is played. Obviously it is so much better to vote for someone who is a known wolf, but don't let a bad vote keep you from voting.

Will check back in if I get a chance.

I had a wild theory that maybe an awful lot of people had stopped posting..... so I researched the last time people had posted.

This is a list of people who are alive and have not posted today. It is not the long silences I expected.... So another crap theory by SOV.

I am posting the info only because I spent the time to do the research, so I might as well publish it.

It was a lot of manual work, so there may be errors. This research has not been peer-reviewed.

I can account for this real quick. I was at work all day yesterday and then when I got home SDN wasn't working very well so I decided to go to bed at 7 pm like a boss. Since I didn't sleep well I'm going back to bed right now.

So the only info out there now seems to be that Ser Dem is a pokemon according to pokedex and Sheebal. Not sure when this investigation occurred though. The vote for FTB seemed a little fishy to me since it happened so late in the lynch with seemingly no reasoning. lynch varz

I'm under the impression the Ash item is a protection item, not a rez item. So: Am I just confused, or are there multiple Ash item, or ... what?

So I was told in a PM randomly I think on night 3 or 4 by the mods that I had lost the Sacred Ash item... but I was never told I had it 😕

I'm guessing mod error, but I never got the original "you have found the ____" PM so I didn't get the actual description of it. I had assumed it was a rez item. There is definitely a different rescue from silencing item, and yet another different healing item (that I thought might be a rez item, but apparently not because it didn't work).

No no.... I literally meant "Sacred Ash" item.

Ash Hat and Sacred Ash must be two different things. And hence the confusion.

Ash Hat = protection
Sacred Ash = resurrection?

I "found" the sacred ash after night 2. The PM I received said that I might be able to use it to bring a player back. I tried to use it on Lissa, but it failed and I lost it.

i've only been popping in here and there periodically as time has allowed. if you cared enough to look, i have paroxysms of posts (i'm such a cool vet student) followed by periods of inactivity, because those are times where i've been able to sit down at my computer and peruse sdn. i wasn't going to lynch anyone unless i was able to at least skim through the thread and had some sort of reason for lynching them.

sorry guys, been pretty busy and was sort of a wild weekend so havent been able to get on here much. I am going to go with lynch SnS

My reasoning is that I silenced her a few nights ago with slash, but when she came back she didn't mention at all being silenced, usually villagers complain a lot or at least say that they were silenced and in my past experience as a wolf it is not always wise to let the general pop know you were silenced as a wolf. Hopefully that makes sense, it is the only lead I have since I haven't been playing extremely close attention

it may just be a personal preference of mine but the less attention drawn towards yourself the better and even though it doesn't imply here a possible failed wolf kill could be traced back to a silenced player. I never said my reasoning to lynch SnS is that great but I have nothing else and I am sticking with it for now

Just cause I'm super curious, I'm going to go with lynch dyachei. If we lynch her and she's bad, we'll know to pay more attention to the letter voters (at least i've been ignoring what they've had to say until now). If she's not, then we can ignore them from here on out?
