polite way to remind LOR writers?

so it is that time to start reminding those LOR writers that the deadline is coming up soon. with most of my evaluators, i have checked in with them at least once over the summer...yet only 2 are marked as "in progress" on vmcas. and with CSU requiring ETS PPI this year, it's even more complicated!

do any of you guys have suggestions/tips for sending a polite reminder email (obviously, the stuff is due october 3rd by 1pm EST) without sounding all freaked out/obsessive/pushy/etc.? i have 6 LOR writers total so i need to keep on top of all of them.

Yeah, the ETS for Colorado is making me more nervous then anything since that one needs to be processed and everything. Luckily two of them are already in. I reminded my vet today but asking if she got the initial email since one of my professors didn't get it initially and I overheard her talking to another staff member about how her one email address has a limited amount of space in her inbox and how it fills in quickly. She said she'd get it done this weekend, so hopefully it'll be submitted soon. With everyone else, I just try to be polite and basically just say that the email is a friendly reminder and how much I appreciate them helping me out.

This is basically what I used, but I also added "let me know if you need any additional input, information,etc in writing your letter". Keep it short and simple.

UGH i KNOW the ETS PPI is a pain in the a**!!!!!
sending emails now to see if my prof/vets completing the ETS PPI can get it done by some time next week. Do you know how long it takes the process it once i send the evaluation report?

I was worried about that too initially because I saw like 3 different values for how long it takes to be processed. I read somewhere that Colorado receives electronic copies, so once you submit your request for your report, they should get it within 3 business days. I think I saw this on the ETS PPI link on the actual supp app.

yeah the ETS PPI instructions PDF from the CSU website says that it takes 3 business days to send it to them. So I guess I should have my evaluators complete it by september 27th or something at the latest so i can submit it on September 27th?

I didn't initially know if they were done electronically or not, so I told mine to complete it by like the 18th. Haha...appears I might have rushed them a bit but oh well...I'd rather it be early than late.
