I know there are others like me who have taken their DAT this month so I thought it would help ease the nerves a bit by having a thread to keep track of how long it's taking for DAT scores to be received by schools.

Mine took about 4.5 weeks. At the end of week 4 i called and checked with the ada and found that i had the wrong Dentpin birthday. That took about 1 day to fix after i emailed them my request to change with a copy of my ID if anyone wanted to know....

I hear it takes 2 Wednesdays from the day you take it *not counting the week you took it*. Your top 5 schools should get the scores then and AADSAS should receive it as well or the day after that. If it is not there by then...I would call.
I took my DAT July 11th (Monday). AADSAS receieved my scores on July 27th, (Weds). So, that's about 3 weeks...a little less. Some people's took longer because they took it when AADSAS was just opening up...but I think 3 weeks is a good estimate.

I think my DAT scores just got mailed out today; not 100% sure though. I saw the 2nd mail out date, but nothing under "Official Scores" yet. I remember reading someone say that schools get them then it'll show on AADSAS or maybe I dreamed it. Anyway, couldn't find where I saw that...oh well. That's probably it though, I hope.

Same here, a second mailing date. However I just took my DAT earlier in the week, so I would be shocked if they sent my score within 1 week....

I did change the DAT section on the app to completed (from planned). So I'm not sure if thats why they sent another app. I certainly would hope not. Did you change this as well?

Yeah I changed that as well. Seems like a minor thing though doesn't it? Like I could change it right back to planned if I chose to...

That may be it though, who knows. Just to let schools know that we've taken it and that they should be expecting our scores in the coming weeks perhaps?

I changed my test status to completed too several days before seeing the mail out date. I can't imagine it taking too long to send out the DAT scores since it's probably not as involved as mailing out the initial app. If you guys hear anything, come back and tell. I'll do the same!

Update: I received a letter from one of the schools stating that they're still waiting on my DAT scores. I'm guessing the 2nd mail out date on AADSAS must not have been for the scores. I inquired with AADSAS and they referred me to ADA. The rep told me to allow 2 to 3 weeks from the test date (took it 7/25), FYI for those who are still waiting too. If I hear anything new, I'll let you all know. Please do the same!😀

- under "application checklist": DAT scores
- under "my application status": official scores
took on 7/26 - nothing posted.

ADA gives scores to AADSAS and they send them out to the schools in the next mailing batch. I took the DAT July 30 and no score updates today either. I've been checking AADSAS every 15 minutes all day and I'm getting an ulcer watching all of the interview dates fill up while I'm waiting.....

I just got an email from one of the schools stating that they have received by DAT scores, but not my LORs. Checked AADSAS and it showed the scores were received 8/10. In summary: DAT taken 7/25, AADSAS received 8/10, and 1 school received scores on 8/11, so I'm guessing the rest of the schools will get them soon. Hang tight; your schools will get your DAT results any day now!

Correction-----------
I misread the email. The checked items in the email were the ones that are needed and not the ones received as I mistakenly thought. But AADSAS shows that the scores have been received 8/10/2011 as predicted by one of the posters.
