[Poll] Yield of this year's application

Hey guys, let's do a poll to see the average yield of this year's application.
For instance, if Tom is accepted by 2 schools and he applied to 10, then his yield is 20% and so on.

I don't think this is going to be very useful for a few reasons:
1) People from certain states apply to fewer/more schools depending on their state school situation.
2) People that apply to a ton of schools usually stop going to interviews after they get an acceptance, which is going to drag your average down.

I may be at the <10% mark for accepted/applied, but I'm 100% for accepted/interviewed 😛

This poll is kind of useless.

Here are the basics: approx 60 percent of all applicants get zero acceptances.

Of the 40+ percent who get acceptances, the majority of them only get 1 acceptance.

This is a guess, but the pctg of applicants who get multiple acceptances is low, but for that group, the number of acceptances they get is probably fairly high (maybe avg 3 to 5?).

I got accepted to 2/9 schools, but I also stopped trying to get in in October (when I got my acceptances). So, I didn't send any LOIs for interviews and I withdrew after I was granted (but didn't attend) an interview. So, I'm sure it could've been higher if I tried.

Same here. I dropped some schools pre decision and pre interview after I got my first acceptance, so I never found out if I would have been accepted. I also rejected a waitlist offer from another school, even though I feel strongly I would have eventually gotten an offer.

I think for most people the number would be low even if they have been accepted to multiple schools. I withdrew (some pre-interview invite but most post interview invite) from all my OOS "safety schools" after I was accepted to my state school.
