My Stats -

34Q

3.82 cGPA

3.71 sGPA

Double major in sports med and biochem

Worked on three research projects already (one is my own Honors Thesis)

Is it worth it to apply to some Ivy Leagues? I'm applying for MD/PhD programs - thinking Yale, Dartmouth, Columbia (not sure if this one is considered "Ivy")

Home state is Nevada and will NOT be applying there...

It's dumb not to apply to your state school, especially if you're applying MD/PhD to other schools. MD/PhD admissions is hard. I'd definitely throw in some ivies with those stats.

I realize it would be easy to get into Reno - but their MD/PhD program is less than quality (nice way of putting it)

How is your research experience? How many publications do you have? The Ivy League MD/PhD programs are extraordinarily competitive, and you won't have a good chance unless your research experience is exceptional.
