Hi all,

I would appreciate anybodies input on this one.

I did pretty well on Step 1 >230, and submitted ERAS, and have been going on interviews and essentially have them all scheduled. I didn't do too well on Step 2, but passed it barely, 2/2 just slacking off way to much. On ERAS I chose not to send my score automatically (thank goodness)

My question is: Is there any way I can just not share my Step 2 score programs until after rank lists go out in Feb?

I understand that if they ask for it, then I must give it. They do know from ERAS that I took it however.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

It appears that it's an "all-or-nothing" option for score release. That is, you can't ONLY send it to programs that require it before rank order lists. Either all of your programs get it, or none of them do.

At least this is what I gathered while looking there today after my score came out. So decide what is better for you...

First of all, talk to someone at your school. Second, depending on what you are going into, you might not be asked. Finally, see if you can have your score sent outside of ERAS. Alternatively, if only a few programs require it, you might have to sacrifice these programs to keep your chances at other programs alive.

Sorry you're in this mess, but do talk to someone at your school before making any big moves.
