anyone with advice or experience with a portable anesthesia machine for use in offices?

Do you want nitrous/air/ oxygen or just air/oxygen? Vapour? Are you planning on physically transporting it in and out of facilities?

Check out the OBA-1 by Cardinal or the Magellan by Oceanic. Third option is the DRE VSO2 (has nitrous capability). The machines without nitrous are usually lighter due to the absence of hypoxic failsafes. Do you need a vent? Only the Magellan has an integrated vent option. Hope this helps

No problem. All I do is dental. I have the DRE because I like nitrous. But I think the other two options are better if you are going air/oxygen. One option that is nice on the DRE is it has low flow flowmeters but at the expense of size and weight

DRE does not have a ventilator which can come in handy occasionally. Sevo vaporizer for mask inductions then switch to TIVA. I have been very pleased with the DRE

Good point. Dentists will not have an air line but it may be possible to have air tanks brought in depending on the office setup and state regulations. I agree that nitrous is definitely more convenient and readily available
