position title for research?

If you did research but weren't the PI, what's ur title? ERAS wants the position name, but I'm not sure what to put. "Assistant" seems lame? Thoughts? Thx!

It really depends on your role. Some collaborators are "site PI", others are "consultant". Most researchers at the medical student level are probably "research assistant".

It's not "lame". It is what it is.

i agree that assistant is lame. use research associate. i disagree with atsai with regards to this one.
