So I've done 5 crack dat practice tests. For all of them I've noticed that in the angle ranking section, there are many questions (like 3/4) that have 2 options that always have the same 1st and 2nd choice, or same 3rd and 4th choice. And pretty much always (ive only seen 1), the correct answer lies within these two choices. I was wondering if anyone noticed this pattern? and I was wondering if anyone has used this "strategy" on the real DAT. Obviously trying to work out the angles normally would be better but I've used this when I either have no idea or am running out of time. Opinions? Ill give an example below if it sounds confusing

Question. blah blah blah
a) 1 < 3 < 2 < 4
b) 3 < 4 < 2 < 1
c) 1 < 3 < 4 < 2
d) 4 < 2 < 3 < 1

So in this case, the correct answer is almost always A or C, and all you have to do is compare 2 and 4 to get the right answer

For some problems this may work but I wouldn't count on the real DAT having giveaway options like those. The answer choices could look like this.

a) 1-3-4-2
b) 1-3-2-4
c) 3-1-4-2
d) 3-1-2-4

or something to that effect.

They force you to actually know the order of angles. I would recommend trying to find a strategy on how to determine which angels are most acute vs obtuse. This will be most beneficial on the DAT.
